Why the F are you charging me a cancellation in the first place?!?
Fair question.
Here’s the honest answer.
At PureSpace, we pay our team some of the highest rates in the city - intentionally.
Our vision was to fine-tune our service for the best communities & developments in the tri-state!
The quality of service you receive is directly tied to the quality of the people we hire, train, and retain.
When you book an appointment, that time is reserved exclusively for you.
And a single housekeeping visit isn’t just “someone showing up.”
It involves:
A scheduler confirming + reserving your time
A warehouse team member pulling & packing supplies
A courier transporting materials
A trained housekeeper performing the service
An admin processing before/after documentation
Supplies being returned, inventoried, and reset
When a cancellation happens at the last minute, we can’t always redeploy that team member elsewhere.
In many cases, the turnaround time is simply too tight.
That means a cleaner may lose a day’s income.
We don’t believe that should fall on them.
Our cancellation structure exists to protect the people who make the service possible —
the ones in your home, doing the work.
We understand that life happens. We build flexibility into our relationship tiers accordingly.
But at the core, our policy is about fairness — to you and to the team that shows up for you.
