During the Inspections phase - our veteran intake team analyzes the condition of the piece and assigns a grade based on the existing conditions. We determine hair health, hide hydration levels, and any physical damage (holes, tears, bald spots, etc.) We deploy a commercial quality VOC gas detector that can sense the molecules that cause persistent odors to remain within the fur (smoke, perfume, mothballs, etc.)

Our team will generate a comprehensive report of your piece(s) with several tiers of options. From a basic cleaning & storage service to a Signature Level restoration and treatment plan with a fully insured seasonal storage package - you’ll have the ability to pick and choose the different levels of care!

We use a wide array of tools & equipment to make certain of your piece’s integrity throughout the cleaning process. High frequency oscillation to “shake” out deep set contaminants, analysis and treatment of any stains. If called for, full solution soaks and conditioning gives us the ability to restore hydration levels and displace any deep set VOCs!

This is perhaps our favorite stage of our process. During this phase, we do whatever it takes to bring the piece to near-perfect as can be! We’ll hand polish whatever hardware was removed during the cleaning process, use custom conditioning solutions and apply final touches to prepare for long term storage or immediate use! During this phase, we’ll reach out with photos of any particular areas of interest that might require consent for additional processing.

This is the Quality Assurance phase of our process - your piece will be examined by several team members to check for any final imperfections that might need mending, reprocessing, etc. Once it passes the QA check, we’ll hand brush the piece, stuff it to the brim with acid-free tissue paper and a 45% Humidity Desiccant satchel - and then prepare your piece to return to you or store long term!

Store your fur & leather pieces in cold storage when you are done wearing them for the season to preserve them. Furs will last longer the more time they’re in cold storage...kinda like cryotherapy!
